Alaric Aloor & Bob Millard Join Board of Directors

ProAct believes that appropriate team member vetting, selection, onboarding and ongoing training promotes a culture of trust, responsibility, loyalty, job satisfaction, and ultimately, organizational success. Therefore, we are working more conscientiously than ever to build the competence and professionalism of ProAct Indy, knowing that the stronger our organization is internally, the greater our impact will be.

To support our capacity building activities, in May 2019, we restructured our current staffing to support our more sustainable, innovative model. To begin this process of restructuring, ProAct’s Founder, Derrin Slack (our former CEO), and its board of directors made the mutual decision to bring on an experienced executive to lead the organization at this critical point of change and growth. Derrin Slack transitioned to manage the organization’s programs as our Chief Program Officer.

Currently, ProAct employs two full-time staff members in Pitt Thompson, CEO (former board member), and Derrin Slack, Founder and Chief Program Officer. We have refined our program model and delivery and we intend to add new staff in 2020 and engage consultants to assist in ancillary needs in grant writing, operations, and marketing and public relations.

To help lead the efforts in oversight, accountability, and governance, we have recruited a highly competent board of directors who have reputable experience in the business, nonprofit, and education sectors and have been instrumental in ProAct’s success during this critical time of growth and sustainability.

Joining Jeb Banner (CEO, Boardable), Audrey Ballard (Eli Lilly and Company), and Robert Kort (CEO & President, Kort Builders) is Alaric Aloor, CEO & CTO at Archon Security and Robert (Bob) Millard, CFO at T2 Systems.

Alaric Aloor is the Founder, CEO & CTO of Archon Security, a IT security firm dedicated to perfectly synchronizing the digital security mandates of confidentiality, integrity and availability. Alaric is an information technology expert and is passionate about diversity and inclusion.

ProAct has grown to be a reputable organization with accurate data, efficient systems to deliver our programs, and equitable approaches to engaging a diverse community because of our use of powerful technology systems.

With Alaric’s expertise and background, ProAct can better understand our community and update our software and hardware to meet our community’s demands – the key to many facets of our organization including accounting & finance, marketing & social media, fundraising & donor management, program delivery & evaluation, training & development just to name a few.

Robert Millard | CFO, T2 Systems

Bob MIllard is the CFO at T2 Systems and comes to ProAct with stellar credentials. He is a highly accomplished and respected leader, known for his consistent ability to optimize capital structures, build effective infrastructure, leverage technology, implement sound internal controls, and engage key stakeholders. 

Before Bob began as CFO at T2 Systems, he was the CFO for GoHealth for 4 years. Prior to that role, he spent 2 years as the CFO for Angie’s List. Bob began his financial career with positions at Arthur Anderson and Ernst & Young LLP.
